Considering buying a jet card?

We feel strongly you shouldn’t.

Despite their apparent convenience, jet cards often fall short of being the ideal solution for private flying. The substantial upfront costs, coupled with inflexible terms and potential hidden fees, can make them a less attractive option for many travelers. The expiration dates on flight hours create pressure to fly, potentially leading to unnecessary trips just to avoid losing value. Moreover, the limitations on aircraft types and potential booking issues during peak times can negate the very freedom and flexibility that private flying promises.

TruNorth Jets does things differently and here’s why.

TruNorth Jets | Jet Card

We shouldn’t ask you for money the first time we speak.

If a charter broker tells you the only way to do business with them is to buy a six-figure jet card, that’s a red flag in our opinion. It’s a tacky way to “qualify” a new customer by pushing them to make a substantial investment in a broker they don’t even know yet. At TruNorth Jets, we believe in establishing life-long relationships with our clients and asking for a hefty deposit immediately is not the right way to do business.

We have no business tying up your capital.

At TruNorth Jets you only pay for the flights you take. Every trip request requires no obligation on the client’s behalf to book and we certainly do not want clients to feel pressured to do business with us for having money on account. We strive to have our clients want to do business with us and that’s why they request additional flights!

After a jet card is purchased, the company is done earning your business.

With six-figures of your hard-earned capital on account, you immediately feel obligated to continue to fly with the company until you have used up your jet card. At TruNorth Jets, we feel it is our business to continue earning your business every single flight. We want you to want to fly with us on your next trip, we only want you to feel obligated to be loyal to us because we’ve worked hard for you each time!

Flight time should never expire.

Many jet cards have expiration dates and the companies will make the customer feel relieved when they extend their program if not used by the expiration date. At TruNorth Jets, we feel you should never be pressured to fly with us for any reason – if your travel needs change and you go some time without flying, we will be here for you next time you have the need!

Jet cards have restrictions.

Jet card holders might be restricted to a certain size category of aircraft and may also have blackout dates over peak periods of travel. If you want to take the entire family on a trip during the holidays for example, upgrading to a larger airplane and traveling on your preferred dates is always an option with TruNorth Jets. While peak travel often is a bit higher priced, finding an airplane with enough notice is never an issue.

For those seeking true autonomy in their travel plans and optimal cost-efficiency, on-demand jet charter with TruNorth Jets is the way to go.
